Performance Data

Our latest information about KS2 attainment and progress measures can be found at:

Ofsted and Diocese data

The School Data Dashboard provides a snapshot of Paulerspury Primary School’s performance at Key Stages 1 and 2.

The dashboard can be used by school governors and by members of the public to check the performance of the school.

The School Data Dashboard complements the Ofsted school inspection report by providing an analysis of school performance over a three-year period. Data can be filtered by key stage or by topic:

As the SATs testing and National Curriculum has changed substantially this year, direct comparisons between the results for 2014/15 and 2015/16 cannot be made.

The children in Year 6 undertake a series of statutory tests in the Summer term. These assess the children in the following areas:

  • Reading
  • Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling
  • Maths

In addition, a grade is submitted for Writing based upon teacher assessment.

In 2016, the tests and criteria for assessment changed to reflect the more challenging expectations of the new National Curriculum. The way in which results were reported also changed, with children given a ‘scaled score’ linked to their test result. A scaled score of 100 indicates that a child has met the ‘expected standard’.
