Newsletter 1 – Monet Sept 2016

In Monet class we follow the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We promote learning through play and aim to create a happy, secure and inspiring learning environment which will enable the children to become confident and independent learners.

We use Tapestry to track the children’s learning and provide an online Learning Journey for parents.

We follow the Read Write Inc phonics program and use Numicon to support the children in maths.

There are 7 areas of learning covered by the EYFS. The three prime areas, essential for the children’s healthy development are:

*Personal, Social and Emotional Development
